Moonland is a proud member of The Shift, Belgium's largest sustainability network.

The Shift brings together hundreds of companies, public institutions, universities and civil society organizations, all working across sectors to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economy and society. It's a network built on the idea that the biggest challenges don't get solved by one organization, or one sector, alone.

Why we joined

For us, joining The Shift is a natural fit.

We work exclusively with organizations committed to making a positive change: NGOs, foundations, social enterprises and companies where impact drives strategy and accountability. Our job is to strengthen the critical internal processes their impact depends on, with digital systems their teams can understand, own and evolve themselves.

That work puts us close to a problem we see again and again. Ambition is rarely the issue. The organizations we meet know exactly what they want to achieve. What often holds them back is the structure behind it: reporting that eats up weeks, data scattered across spreadsheets and inboxes, and critical knowledge living in the heads of a few people.

The transition to a more sustainable economy needs strong ambitions. It also needs organizations that can deliver on them, measure their progress and prove it. That's where we can contribute.

What we're looking forward to

A network like The Shift is only as strong as what its members bring to it. Here's what we're looking forward to:

Learning from the community. Companies, NGOs, public institutions and academics each see sustainability from a different angle. We want to understand those angles better, so we can build systems that fit the reality of each.

Exchanging ideas. How do you measure impact in a way funders, boards and teams all trust? How do you report on it without a quarterly scramble? These are questions many members are working on, and we're happy to share what we've learned.

Meeting organizations with the same ambition. Some of the best partnerships start with a conversation over coffee. We're looking forward to many of those.

Technology that serves people

We believe technology should strengthen organizations, not overwhelm them. When the systems behind critical processes are clear and well structured, teams spend less time wrestling with spreadsheets and more time on the work that actually matters.
